After looking at several sites Ive gotten mixed information on feeding

Do i give phylite with formula?

one lady says no its murderous...the other says its really good... I haven't been doing it because i doubt they can rehydrate and digest at the same time as well hes not suffering from dehydration so he doesn't seem to need it..

When do i start weening him off of formula and how do i do it?

His eyes just opened meaning hes 4ish weeks old... i was told around that time i should be trying to introduce solid food

How can i tell if he is sick...or needs care?

Im scared he could be sick and due to not being professionally trained for this.. un able to even know..

Does anyone know about rehabilitaters in Ottawa Ontario Canada

I looked for days and cant find any there is a wild life sanctuary but they haven't returned my calls and im worried they wont be able to take him... or worse... will..put him down..

NEVER!! --MIX Pedialyte with Formula...... they are two separate liquids - meant for two different NEEDS, therefore, they should be given separately.

Weaning will not take place until your little guy is up an running around for a few months.... generally around 14 to 16 weeks old.
Squirrels can still take their formula (fox valley) and eat solid food at the same time.... :thumbsup

Squirrels (and animals) are a lot like People they will show it when they are not feeling well..... they will not eat, will become lethargic, refuse to drink, have diarrhea or loose stools, etc

There are a few members on TSB that are from Canada.... Hang in There and they will be around in the Morning.... :)
