Need help in Georgia

Found a baby squirrel, eyes still closed. I hae raised a couple of squirrels before but I will be going out of town soon and will not be able to help this one for long. I there anyone that can help. I am about 40 miles south of Atlanta.

What county are you in?
How old is the baby? (some rehabbers are particular about age).
Are you driving to your destination,and if so, give me an idea of the direction you are going because it will broaden my search.

I am in sc on the sc ga border! Would b glad to take the baby but have two little boys and can't drive that far! Where r u going out of town? Anychance it's this way?

The baby is about 4 wks old I think. Hair but eyes still closed. He seems to have no injuries and took his first feeding well. I will be headed to Florida in a couple of weeks, Panama City Beach area and then again at the end of Oct for a wedding. I would love to be able to do this myself as I have a couple of times before with great success, but It will be a little hard for me this time.

I have just heard from a rehab center very close to me. Noah's Ark. They said they will take him. Thank you so much for your replies.

Great. If you run into problems, let me know. I have a friend in Columbus, GA, and you will go right through Columbus to get to PCB.

You are eventually going to need littermates for him in preparation for release, and I'm sure I'm going to be needing some help myself in a couple of weeks. Sometime in the next 3 weeks, send me a PM if you want to take on some littermates and Noah's Ark does not have any to share with you.
