Hey TSB
This past week with the whole hurricane Irene going on made me think about how unprepared I am if I needed to evacuate my family and pets! I could not help but have a feeling of a knife in my heart if my pets loss would be do to my lack of preparedness. There is no way I would leave them behind....I also thought what about food? I have no back up food in case things got that bad, and I know how horrible it would be to see them hungry! and me being in a state of helplessness. I want to be prepared...I have a container that locks out moisture and already have started a list and purchasing things that do not spoil such as wet dog food a 2 week supply for them (dry spoils in months)....well the reason I was posting this is because I wanted to know if anyone had thought of an emergency care kit for squirrels that a squirrel owner should have at all times, items that will not spoil easily ( which I know is difficult since they eat fresh veggies and fruit)...I just wanted to throw this out there because I would hate if I could not feed my little diesel and my two flyers ( lexi and lexus). Any ideas? I have started my personal emergency animal fund as well :thankyou
