Every once in a while, my baby makes a sneezing type of sound... The sound a cat would make if it were to get water in its nose.

I have a vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljthMWQpPpY
It's a bit hard to hear but if you turn up your computer volume you can hear it.. He does it several times in this vid.

It doesn't happen when he's sleeping or eating, and there's no clicking sound coming from him at all.

I don't know what it is, and it's starting to worry me.

(also on a side note, how much formula should i be feeding him per sitting? he's just under 5 weeks old)

What type of bedding do you use for the little one?

We've been using a towel. I know it syas to use t-shirts or something else but it's really all we have, and I've been watching him closely to make sure he doesn't get stuck.

When i changed him from the pink one in the video, I used a cheap beach towel that doesn't have loops. It's in the wash now though, and I'm back to the pink one.

If you can find some different material other that towels, please do so.
A little more information about what you are feeding, and how often and how much, would be a great help.

I've been feeding him Pedialyte every 3-4 hours so far, but I'm just on my way out to get some goats milk to make the temporary solution.

I'm not sure how much to feed him, but now he only takes about 1-2ccs per feeding. When I first found him, he took a lot more I imagine because he was thirsty. What is the suggested dosage?

I've covered the towel in some flannel (all cotton, I used to it to make baby toys for my cousin's baby) for now. Is that okay?

what have you been feeding?
does he have heat source?
how old is your sweetie?'
never feed pedi for more than 24 hours...it will actually start to dehydrate them...

He's just over 4 weeks, and has started to become much more energetic and alert as of this morning. We don't have a heating pad so we're using a hot water bottle and changing it every 4 hours or when it starts to feel less warm to the touch.

He's on the goats milk solution now - how much should I be feeding him in a sitting?
