Lulu is acting normal--active, eating, playing, and all. Her pee has been normal (that I have seen) until tonight when I noticed something different. She normally pees one big puddle but I have seen her do a little puddle before and then find a favorite pee spot and finish there. Tonight she is "dripping" in different spots. For example, walking around on the desk and she keeps stopping here or there and "dripping" or when she was on the back of the computer chair, I was petting and scratching her back and each time she moved I saw a tiny puddle of pee. Her "area" is a little moist with urine and she is not cleaning it. She will smell it and then go about her business. In case it makes a difference, she is about 13 months old. I do not know if this is her heat cycle or if it is something I should be very concerned about. I am panicked so please help if you have any idea. Again, she is eating, active and all like normal...just her pee is different. Thanks.

Unless she seems to be in pain or has dark urine with a smell --it appears she may just be scent marking her area........ which is perfectly normal for her age and with both sexes.

ok. Thank you so much. I freak over the littlest things with my animals.
Her urine itself is normal. I just haven't ever seen her drip that way. She drinks water good though she goes through phases where she barely touches water and then others where she inhales it like it won't exist by the time the day is over. I would say she drinks an ounce a day (if I am right about how many ounces her water bottle holds). Anyways, she is definitely not in any kind of pain. I even pressed all around her abdomen and she just laid there (normal for her) and didn't even squeak or flinch at all. The smell of her urine is the same as well as the color (really pale yellow, almost clear looking for a yellow).
