Found this little guy on my way in the door. He was lying on the driveway under a tree. At first I thought he was dead, but then he tried to move and was breathing.
I got him into a shoebox as quick as possible, since I have two cats and two dogs here, I didn't want them getting at him.
It's a boy, near as I can tell.
Right now the problem is, his breathing seems to be slowing down. I have him on a heating pad, set to low. He's in the box still on some flanelette fabric.
I haven't tried fluids yet, but I do have pedialyte here as well as some Kitten milk replacer.

What should I be doing now? I really don't want this poor dude to die.

Getting the baby warm, checking for any injuries and re-hydrating him with pedialyte is your first concern......... once you are sure he is thoroughly re-hydrated and warm
then you can feed him some GOATS MILK RECIPE in the morning (not kitten formula - never)..... and only with a 1cc syringe.

1 cup Goats Milk
1/3 cup Full Fat Vanilla Yogurt
1/3 cup Heavy Cream (same as whipping cream)

(lasts 72 hours in frig)

:poke Due to a few past "misunderstandings" we need to stress here it is the goat's milk for human consumption your looking for, not goat's milk replacement formula.

Sadly, he had a bit of a seizure and stopped breathing about two hours after I posted this. Poor little guy is now buried in my back yard near my pond.
Thank you all for your help, and I will be back if I ever find another little one.

Thank you for trying, at least he wasn't alone in his passing...:grouphug
