4 baby boys "nursing"

I have 4 babies and they are all boys, so as you can imagine there is alot of "nursing" going on between feedings. I have been told to try bitter yuck. Is this safe to put on them in between feedings, or has someone found a better alternative?..I tried the nipple idea but they just step all over it, and they are getting fed plenty.:dono

I had luck putting mine in socks. With all boys, I think they would all have to go into socks. They manage to squirm thier way out at times, but it helps a LOT! In no time they can have a scabbed over penis that will be life threatening. The socks worked for me.

how old are they -- eyes open yet? Sometimes if they are at least 3.5 - 4 wks I'll give them a chunk of apple -- big enough so they can't choke on it -- or a big monkey biscuit to gnaw on. Otherwise it's separate them, or use the Yuck. :(

Ones eyes opened 2 days ago. one will have open eyes this week and the other 2 are maybe 3 weeks old.I hate to seperate them as I only have 1 cage to keep them in until release. Ihave rat chow in with them , hoping they will get used to the smell. I have some monkey biscuits that I could try but the little ones are not interested at all.

Maybe something a little juicy like apple.....? Otherwise I'm afraid sox are in their future :)

I used this on my last bunch of babies (wrap it on like a diaper) and it worked like a charm --:thumbsup :thumbsup
