Noise

Got a general question about Squirrelys.

The noise they make like the noise of nuts rattling around. I know by how loud it is whether its a serious threat or not, I was wondering where does it come from ? Their mouth or somewhere else ?

I am no expert....... but I would think their mouth / voice box (just maybe deep down) -- :thumbsup :thumbsup

Yes, they can make all kinds of sounds with their voice boxes. Whirring, growling, 'chuck chucking', barking, whining, chirping. You name it :D. When they chatter their teeth at you, RUN!!!!
