View Full Version : I could use some advice here.

some of you may be familiar with my thread on my 2 year GS second litter of babies, they are almost 6 weeks old she had 4 2 males and 2 females. females are nice and big while the males are smaller. What is concerning me is the littlest one has not been growing fur like the others in the group, he has some but not like the others. he is much smaller looks like he is 2 weeks behind his brother and sisters. Now that they have their eyes open all but the little one i am afraid they will compete aggressively for milk and push him away. i am thinking seriously about buying some fv and supplementing his diet. what do the rest of you think about this? If i do get formula which one should I get?

I think supplementing with FV 32/40 would be a great ideal...... you can get it here @ http://www.henryspets.com/

He could be a FTT (Failure to Thrive) baby but that doesn't mean he CAN'T thrive with a little help. The FV 32/40 would be a great idea. FV also makes Ultra Boost, a high-fat supplement to go into the regular formula, which may help him too. :thumbsup

He was small from the beginning and was also separate from the others when I found them in the attic insalation not too far but when i first came upon them he was not in the little ball of babies. Even though he is small he still crawls in and out of the nest and around the cage bottom. I didn't want to interfere in Galileo's mothering but now that the others are clearly hogging up everything I agree it's time. i will get the fv today. Thanks for your input.
