Yes, I'm still around. It's been a very busy summer & now we're gearing up for my son to start high school. (That just does not seem possible!)
Anyway, things have been quiet squirrelwise until last night. Yep, I got a single little boy. About 5-6 weeks old, but on the thin side. Mom's nest was in the rafters of an airport hangar. Talk about hot! He's 77 grams and other than a split lip from his fall, he seems in good shape. Anyone got a single that needs a sib? I'll be happy to pass him off or take one in, but we all know that siblings are better than singles. Let me know. :peace

I wish I was closer, I'm in Jacksonville, and have 4 babies around the same age. I would gladly help!
Hopefully someone with sibs who is closer will show up soon! :)

I saw on Facebook that Liz Harrell has a single.

Yes. We talked last night. Her baby is about 7 weeks old. Not sure putting the two together is a good idea. What do you guys think?

Ohh I'd be interested in passing one on not taking one it. I'm a wuss and at my limit. All alone on a ten acre farm with 12 ponies, two dogs, blah blah blah and endless acreage to mow not to mention the two dang jobs. LOL

I am in Lakeland and I just acquired 4 baby squirrels on Monday.... two that still have their eyes closed - about 4 weeks old.
How close are you to me and can you bring them to me or meet me half way? - as my son is using my car to get to work these days.
I also have two other squirrels that just opened their eyes five days ago.... :)

I'm heading out to go pick up the baby squirrel that Scooby has to go with my little guy & the little girl that I picked up last night. LOL! Be careful what you ask for! :rotfl Oh well, at least now 3 little singles will make up a happy little group of siblings. Thanks, everyone!
Rhapsody - Don't be surprised if you hear from Lizharrel1. She's got a single 7 week old who desperately needs a sib, too.
