Hi everyone, my pet flying squirrel Flap Jack is not doing well. I've been reading this forum as fast as can to figure out what's wrong with him and it sounds like calcium deficiency. I called my local pet store and all they have is the GNC Ultra Mega Premium Milk Replacer for Puppies. Here is a link with information on it...

What I've been reading is to give him Fox Valley, but no one has that around here and I'm afraid if I wait for the order to be shipped to me, he won't make it since he needs something now. Is this GNC good enough to give him? Or should I try just the Tum's crushed up in water?

Please help!!! He is not doing good and I'm afraid he won't last for too much longer. Sorry if others have asked a similar question before in the past, but I need an answer right away and since I'm freaking out, I'm having a harder time reading all the threads.

Thanks to all that help!!!

I forgot to mention that I do have reptile calcium at my house (that was not bought for the squirrel). Here's the link for it....

Is this ok to give him?

If you have Tums, use that now. If he will nibble on his own, great, if not, dissolve in water or juice and syringe into him.

How old is this squirrel, how long have you had him and what is his diet? Tell us after you get a little bit of calcium into him. You will spend the rest of the evening giving him this one Tums - you want to give it multiple times per day, not one big dose.
