Sammy seems to have a bit of diarrhea. Which I must say would have been nice to notice BEFORE he wiped his bottom all over my shirt, hair and arm. Not to be gross but it is sort of the consistency of hummus :sanp3 . Should I be worried? He really hasn't had anything out of the ordinary to eat and it isn't too hot here these days. I just don't know if there is something that I should be worried about:dono :thinking :dono

Nobody with any ideas? I guess it is just something to not worry about yet. Maybe his beautiful new house (that he's eating:sanp3 ) will have some medicinal effect!:D

Have you checked for stashes of food that may not be so good now???

Push lots of fluids and if it keeps up try baby organic pumpkin or canned pumpkin
not pie filling. And the other is a few drops of kaopectate is safe to use.

There can be many factors that can cause diarrhea. Trying to discover what caused it is one thing, not letting it continue is another.
Continued diarrhea can cause dehydration! I would definitely try what lilidukes suggested and in the meantime try and figure out what may have caused it in the first place. Unless there is an underlying illness which hasn't presented itself, I would look at something he has consumed that didn't agree with him. Maybe his beautiful new house that he's eating is the culprit. Could be something as simple as an upset tummy over stress too. Whatever caused the diarrhea, it is not anything you would want to continue for any length of time.

Thank you for the responses! It is definitely not his new house, as it started right before he started eating the house. It seems fine this morning and now I am wondering if maybe it is more like he was constipated and it sort of just got pushed out in a glob rather than in normal pellets. (sorry to spoil breakfast...lol)
I will keep an eye on the little dear and report back!:thankyou

I was thinking he ate something stashed that was a little beyond its 'sell by' date...lol Glad to hear he is better. You should keep some plain canned pumpkin if he gets it again (make sure it is plain, no spices!)
