Help our pet Dove Shadow was attacked by a Hawk and his crop was ripped open! We didnt know what to do so we googled it and came up with a forum from natures gift on this site where her pigeon Flint had the same thing happen we followed everyones instructions and stiched him up gave him bird biotics and now he is doing great!! my question is how long do we leave the stiches in?

:wave123 Florida Bob, I looked up info on suture removal from a class I took on Sutures and Suture Uses and Techniques. Most of the removal times are sketchy but some say 10-14 days with a lot of" depending on this" and "depending on that" and "depending on visual clues, etc". The member you are referring to with Flint is Nature's Gift.
