Friend just called and his cat brought him a 6 inch long rabbit. He thinks its a jack or cotton tail. Its fully furred and eyes open. His cat brought it to him. He says no marks or puncture wounds and the rabbit is OK. He needs to know what to do. I told him dark room in a container that it cannot eat through. And some water.

Can they get a pic or a weight? If its eyes are open, pick some clover from the yard to put in with it to eat. Any time we get a cat caught bunny, we ALWAYS use abs, cat saliva can be deadly! Heat under half, of course. Old fashioned oats he can put in, as well.
