I'm almost embarrassed to ask this at this point. I give Sammy (10 month old gray) 2 HHBs per day, but he doesn't seem to eat very much of them these days. So, I have been giving him 2 boo balls made with FV per day also. He gets a very good variety of safe veggies also. If he is eating more of the HHBs than I think is that going to be too much calcium? I have worried so much since he showed MBD symptoms months ago that calcium is all I can think of. I seem to be reading on here recently about too much calcium and now I am worried about that. Can someone help me figure out which to worry about?:dono :dono :dono

I don't see any evidence that his diet would give him too much calcium. Those threads you saw about the subject usually involved people who were putting Repcal in the squirrel's water and giving Tums daily AS WELL AS feeding HHB's. Overkill, there. But your little guy should be fine. If he's not finishing his HHB's you could try the picky blocks -- worked great for my picky brats.:D

Thank-you IR! It's the picky blocks the little jerk won't eat. I have tried every block even baking my own, but he does eat some and the boo balls. Of course last month he wouldn't eat boo balls so who the heck knows! :dono
