help tree bark

I found this tree bark. Can someone tell me which tree that is? Can i use it for my squirrel? Or may it be poisonous for him?


I washed it with hot water. Now its on my balcony to dry.

Should i be worried?

It should be a little refuge for him.. :rotfl
