Does anyone know if squirrels can eat Tamarind?

Well, I did find this bit of information (http://hort.ufl.edu/database/documents/pdf/tree_fact_sheets/taminda.pdf):

Fruit characteristics: does not attract wildlife; suited for human consumption; fruit, twigs, or foliage cause significant litter; persistent on the tree; showy.

Anyhow, I was wondering since it is supposed to be high in calcium.
