WATER BOTTLE FOR RACCOON

Can I use a water bottle for a raccoon? Or do I have to use a bowl. Bowls are so messy. Being that any raccoon equiptment cannot be reused for other animals I wanted to know before I bought one for him.

It is advised (to keep them from peeing in their water) to use a big waterbottle like the ones for rabbits or puppies. Yep they are messy. All of mine - until they are outside have a waterbottle. Then when they are outside I hang a small bucket (the stainless steal ones) on the kennel/release cage and then have a seperate water for 'play' and learning. My Romper Room pen has a big purple kiddie pool that I dump minnows in for fun!
