TinyPaws is in that area, I think, but don't know what her situation is these days. (I'm so out of the loop!) :shakehead

They are trying to find a licensed rehabber, anyone else, it will be put down, I guess. Very sad situation. Vets CANNOT help, they have orders to euthanize if one is brought to them, game wardens will do the same.

SR&BT is in Ohio. I think she is a few hours from Dayton, but she may have some contacts.

Sadly deer are illegal to rehab in Ohio now :sad. So, there really isn't too much that can be done for the little tyke :(.
Do you know the nature of the injury? Is the mom still caring for the baby? It is legal to treat if you don't take them from the wild and deer fawns don't travel far so it might be possible to treat while it's in the wild.

From what I have read, the woman called Fish and Wildlife, so they were coming to get it (they told her 'a vet will check it out and they will go from there', but they had already spoken to a vet that informed her it was illegal for them to treat them anymore, so most likely this poor little one has no chance.
