Possible baby bird

My little sisters called me to say they have found a baby bird. I'm going to check it out. I may need help, if he has a broken wing like they claim. I just want to be sure that he really needs help. Leaving now.

Um, sorry for posting this in the emergency forum... The bird looked just like the starling I saw last year, which you told me was a fledgling, and was probably okay. He didn't have any obvious injuries, so I told them to put him back where they had found him so his parents could feed him. Pease tell me that was the right thing...
