Hanging Upside Down Squirrel

It seems way back I read something about squirrels that hang upside down all the time are symptoms of something. Can anyone enlighten me cause my squirrel is starting to hang upside down a lot all of a sudden, which he hasn't done in months.

I think it's a sign that they like to hang upside down....All my squirrels hang upside down even Knotty who can't sit up straight:rotfl

I agree... just a squirrel thing, Scrat hangs upside down just to drink water...even if she is standing on the floor near her bottle, she goes into batmode rather than drink like a normal squirrel:tilt

Ever since Pebbles and Hansel have been s haring the studio with Hami he has decided to start being a clown... either for their benefit, to entertain them, or maybe he's just trying to show off: e.g. he's been walking upside-down on the ceiling of his cage, sometimes actually swinging from the top of his cage while eating, hanging by one foot... etc etc... you name it, he tries it. He's become a regular athlete, and he seems to have great fun doing it too :)
