I am hand raising a 5 week old fox squirrel. I just got her on Sunday morning and have been feeding her goat's milk mixed with high fat yogurt, as per pappy1264, until my order from Fox Valley comes in. She has also been nibbling on blueberries and rodent blocks. Last evening, she started having very soft stools - not quite diarrhea, but almost. I started adding 50% water in the hopes that this would help. It has not. What should I do?

It is either the diet (she is trying to adjust to it). Or possibly parasites (coccidia). A fecal test may not be a bad idea. The stress of "capture" can cause aflare-up. Greenish poop is more of an issue.
I'd hold off on the fruit for awhile.

Thanks for the reply. Her stools are actually starting to firm back up now, with this last feeding. They were a pale brown/tan color - no noticeable odor to them. I will withhold her blueberries for now, too.

Yeah - I would stick to feeding the Fox Valley and Rodent Block for a few weeks then you can slowly add in one vegetables per week (to watch for allergies).
... introduce fruits after they have a balance diet and a good firm stool flow going.
