I rescued this lil guy from the road he was just laying there and going in circles.

I thought his leg was broken but i am thinking the blood was coming from his face any way he has survived the night and has ate honeydew melon today and he has pooped.

I am thinking he has a mouth injury I cant tell his one side of his face is swollen. he eats a bit and sleeps alot.

I know nothing about chips and any help is needed to get this baby better what should I be doing for him.

I have provided a water bottle like for hamsters, honeydew he ate alot of this and sunflower seeds (I read this isnt the best ) :dono I just offered some hamster mix food.

I have no idea what to do for his injuries there was no way I was leaving him in the road or in the wild for another animal to take his injuries to there advantage.

I need advice tips and help

Cute little guy, I'm sure he's grateful. Nice save! :thumbsup
I hope someone in the know will be able to help you, knowing he made it through the night has to hold a lot of hope for the little one.

Hi Bummblebee. I'm a complete newbee, so I wouldn't know how to start advising you. But I noticed you're in Ohio and found a list of Ohio rehabbers at

http://www.southeasternoutdoors.com/wildlife/rehabilitators/ohio-rehabilitators.html

If you page-search for the terms 'small mammal' and 'squirrel,' it'll find you one rehabber listed for each of those (hit 'edit,' 'find' and then type your term in the box). Don't know if any of them are close to you or could help you with a chipmunk, but I hope it goes well. I'm glad you cared enough to rescue him from the road! Good luck.
