One of our little guys was acting funny this am....I thought I may have heard some clicking once...but nothing since. It sounded more like grunting. He also is pooping a lot. Nice and firm but just so much. This morning he only ate about half of what he normally does, but every other feeding after that he ate the norm. It got quite cold last night here....and we did turn off our furnace for the season but they are all on heat. It is now turned back on and I put some warm rice buddies in with them. Could he have just gotten cold?? He seems back to normal.
I don't have any sulfatrim....but I did get some nuflor from the vet. Im wondering if I should treat him just in case. What do you guys think?? And if so what would the dosage be? The nuflor he gave me is in a syringe with a needle on it and its 1 cc.

How much does your squirrel weigh?
Nuflor is dosed differently than other AB's.
If your sq is still just a baby, the dose would be just one drop from a 1cc syringe, ONE time.
If your squirrel is an adult [about one pound] then he squirrel would get 0.3 cc's of Nuflor.
Then again on the third day only if another dose if needed. That's it. No more doses. Beware, it tastes awful. ;)

Just 24g? I would try for half a drop [do you a 0.5 cc syringe?].
You can mix it with anything you like. I would just squirt the one drop in her back/side of her mouth in one shot though, before he knows what's up. You can dilute it, but it won't lessen the taste and then you'll have that much more volume to wrestle into him [try it! put a drop on your finger and stick your tongue on it!!]. Once he's tasted it, he probably won't give you another try to get it all in!! :D

You might need to dilute it a little tho, just to get enough volume to get the one tiny drop out of the syringe. Aim to do it in one squirt....

Excellent! I hope he's feeling better and doesn't need it. :)
