noisy baby- 6 week old grey squirrel

Just want to make sure this is normal. He's quiet most of the time but when he's snuggling and i move he growls aand squeaks at me.

Hansel did that with me at times too. Never did figure out the "why" for it though. :)

Sounds like a grumpy little darling when he is sleeping. :rotfl Actually many times when you get them a little older they are startled easier because I believe it is a natural reaction in the wild to be on alert to scare away something that might be around your nest or might hurt you. I have observed this in some of the older babies I get in. Who knows for sure? :dono

I think they all have their own little personalities and you have a communicator:D

My Finnagin is a big time noise maker. You could hear him grunting from another room! Now that he's older and spending time outside he's not as chatty.

When I bring him food i can hear him grunting in his nest box...:shakehead
He always was a bit weird.:crazy
