Need help in houston! I've found a baby squirrel that is badly dehydrated and won't take pedialyte....can any one give this baby sub-q fluids?

Hold on I will look for help. Keep the baby warm.Put his container half on and half off of a heating pad set on low.

I'm sure someone will see this soon that may be able to help. Is TX a legal state? If so, maybe your local ER vet could help you. Wouldn't hurt to call and see if it's an option. I'm in SC and our local ER clinic does. Hope your little one will be ok. Hang in there and help will be on soon I'm sure.

I'm here. I'm in Katy, if I need to pick it up tonight i can do that - willing to drive where ever I need to.. Can someone, anyone, overnight/mail me a ringer? I'll pay. I might be able to get my hands on something to subQ with tomorrow from the FANTASTIC vet I found today. Can probably take it to him tomorrow if all thus fails.

just spoke to Mrs. Skul.
She says the baby must be 5-6 weeks old, must have been without Mom for a while because s/he is skin and bones.
Mrs Skul and Emliy Rose spoke on the phone. The baby is being hydrated, gradually. Molasses was used to rub the baby's gums. Mrs Skul gave ER suggestions, ER will stay up all night with the baby, with Mrs Skul being on call if needed.
They also know to call Lookmomchickens if they need extra help.

If needed, please call Mrs Skul, don't email/send her pms tonight because she won't be able to check them till later tomorrow. So, if you need anything - please call her. Let the phone ring (even if the answering machine picks up) - it might take her a minute or two to get to the phone.
