I don't have any info to offer you since I make the Boo-balls. Maybe Leigh (4Skwerlz) can give you advice. Sorry.

If you're like me, maybe you measured part of the recipe wrong, maybe too much salt.
You could try making a second batch and comparing them.
They last a while if frozen, so if both batches turn out good then you just don't have to make some for a while!

Yes, and I did not realize you were using peanut butter.
Some brands do have a lot of salt added, that may be why.
You may want to adjust the amount of salt you add or eliminate it.
I think it's optional anyways.
I assume you have been tasting your blocks?
I had not thought to do that...:D

is it ok to feed her this batch?...........will it harm her?.............i dont feel like throwing the whole lot out :(
yes, i taste my blocks occasionally cos chickoo is such a picky eater that i have to keep making modifications to each batch to get her to eat them!.............this time it was "coconut blocks"..............she likes them...............well sort of :D

I taste everything I make for my little outdoor fuzzers, so much so, I've kinda developed a liking for all kinds of "squirrel food" 129683

Interesting...had never occurred to me...
Will try tasting the blocks myself and see!
We do share all the veggies and fruits and even the nuts.
Except acorns, will have to taste one and see what it's all about!

EVO or Taste Of The Wild
Which do you prefer, and why.
What results/experience have you had with them.
Thinking about switching to one of these, just want some input.
Thank you

Acorns are VERY bitter - this I remember for trying a bite of them when I was a kid, never forgot it :rofl- and I may be wrong but I thought I read somewhere that they are toxic for humans. I mean, not lethal but toxic as in can make you sick.

Could be worse.. when I was a kid, my parents used to intentionally trick me into eating dog biscuits..... They would pretend to eat them and tell me how could they tasted until I tried them lol. I'd take an acorn over that any day, toxic or not.. :rotfl
