FOUND FROZEN FLYING SQUIRRELS!

WARNING TO ALL TEXAS TSB PEOPLE!!!
Please go out side and look under trees, and Squirrels Nest. Some Squirrels have been giving birth for 2 to 3 weeks now.
I just found some Fall Baby Flying Squirrels frozen to death! :shakehead
The Freezing rain and ice is to much for some!
Please go and check for babies and young.

Crystal, could putting out some type of bedding near their nests so they will take it in help? Poor babies, so many of them suffering out in this extreme weather....just trying to survive. RIP little angels.....

Poor sweet little, precious one's--Ive been watching the news--it's suppose to get, colder!!
I always go out --after a big storm- it rain's so, hard & sideways-the wind blows the nests apart--
I think thats a good idea--leaving, nesting items--maybe by the outside food--that momma can build a stronger warmer nest--:grouphug

The way it looks, is they were eating. The freezing rain came in.
It must have just covered them. They were all Fall babies.
