Hello. My name is Marty. I am a licensed Maryland Wildlife Master Rehabilitator. I love all animals, but I am NUTS about squirrels ! I preach the wonders of squirrels to any and all who will listen ( or just happen to be standing near me ). I work mostly with eastern grays, but flyers and chips are never turned away. Actually, nothing is evered turned away, even if I only do intake and stabilize then transfer to another rehabber. I am caring for 2 MBD squirrels that had been kept as pets. Hopefully, Spring will find them able to return to the tree tops, loving squirrel life. TSB's MBD and nutritional threads are fabulous. Incredible research! Wonderful people! I am happy to be a part of this forum.

Hi, welcome UDoWhat. IDoItToo! Just squirrels. I love your comment about how you trade for the pinkies.

When I go to Joanns and buy fleece, they will invariably ask, "so, what are you going to be making" and I usually buy lots of 1 yard pieces. So, I tell them! I have been so surprised at people's reactions. They are usually very interested.

Again, welcome; look forward to seeing you around.

I'm in Howard Co. Where are you?

I'm in Harford county...
I'm familiar enough with your area, could find my way around if I had to. I haven't had any luck finding rehabbers that cater to squirrels in my area when I've searched. They are mostly for birds of prey and reptiles. I have one little girl I'm doing o.k. with but I'd be lost at a crisis situation such as a pinkie. Could I call on you if need to?

mpetys,:thankyou . I am happy to be here. I have had that same
thing happen in Joann's. Now when I go in they call others over
to see the "squirrel lady". Most always people are kind and friendly.
