Thanks y'all! I raised and released 5 squirrels this year (previously I have raised rehabbed mostly opossums). They all still live in my yard and they are a real joy and a pleasure. Gigi is the girl in my avatar pic with the winter-weather headgear.

Hey Karen! :Welcome I'm tickled there's another squirrel/possumaholic in our midst. I have a friend in Texas who rehabbs birds--another Karen. There is a possum under my desk as I type. He was released last year and didn't go anywhere. Now he's a fixture inside as well. Possums is awsome! Squirrels RULE!

We are from Texas too. Welcome. There is so much wonderful information here. We have a squirrel. She has been with for three years now. I found TBS by surfing the Web for information on how to raise baby squirrels. I credit the members here for keeping my squirre healthy.:Welcome
