I found a nest on the ground in my yard with three baby flying squirrels. Need someone to care for them. Wildlife rescue wouldn't take them because they say they are old enough to be on their own. They are really little! Please email me.

Just wondering - How old were the flyers that a wildlife rescue would not take them in?

they are between 5-6 weeks old...
:poke would you like to take over with their care? j/k
they are very easy actually! Good babies!
i have a grey pinkie coming today, so i have been told...
are you interested yet?
I can send them with FV and syringe kits!;)
blankies, cage...whatever you may need!:D
You can pick too, a grey pink or three flat tailed sweeties!!
well......:multi

I hope you know I m kidding, :thinking I think.....

Not a wildlife rescue group, Florida Veternary Specialist's would not take them...
the big fancy clinic we have here...
I would hate to think they said no...but I guess!
I know my old vet would say 'we have no wildlife funds' meaning NO milk money had been donated...
eeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! help is help, animals are animals! these places can irritate me..deciding who lives{the paying customer} and who won't be taken in! sad day when a vet clinic says no!

Oh that is so sad that they would not take them at such a young age - I was thinking they were more like 12 weeks old..... but 5 to 6 weeks old (thats not right) you would think a wildlife center would take them in at that age for at least another month then release them. *poor little things* :shakehead

I thought I was getting a baby flyer last night.... but the father of the girl had her put the baby back out side in case the mother returned at 9 pm at night and by the time I convinced them to let her go get it and bring it before it got cold (and then I would come pick the flyer up) it had ran out from under neath the mushroom it was hiding under and ran up the nearest tree... no body has seen the little guy since then... I left a cage with some fleece and food in it just in case.

The flyer was fully furred and was about 4 inches long, but still small.... think he will make it on his own with this cold front coming in again?
