Ok, besides my chipmunk dilema, I'm also feeding a very benevolent squirrel who lives in my yard. Infact, I can call him to me. Question one, why is he always hanging around with that other light colored squirrel that is so timid and agitatable? I thought they foraged alone. Question 2, what can I wear for protection against bites? I hand feed him, and he's been nothing but good, actually, great would better discribe his behavior, but you never know.

Well, first off........ a good pair of thick leather GLOVES.
Your yard buddy may be hanging around with the other squirrel because he too is lonely and likes the company or the other squirrel could be one of his siblings that he has decided to stay with to get through the winter - they will be warmer at night all snuggled up together.... squirrels have been known to shack up with an unknown squirrel during the winter when its cold outside and body heat is needed for extra warmth / survival.
Each and every squirrel has their own personality.
They will always respond a bit different.
Just nature.
