Thought I would formally introduce myself. I've been using the board as a resource for several months and decided I would formally join and say hello. I'm Sarah, and this is my 5 month old baby Chiperita Acorn (Chippy or sweet rita for short).

I've had her since August and estimate that she was around 4 or 5 weeks when I got her. She was found on the sidewalk outside my daughters martial arts school. She was eaten up with fleas and had more mites then I've ever seen on any animal, and half starved. I nursed her back and have been bonded with her ever since. I'm keeping her over the winter because she's just not ready, and will decide how to proceed in the spring. But anyways, I wanted to say Thank You to everyone for the pool of knowledge on the board. It's nice to see so many experienced squirrel lovers all in a one place.
