The most important question is never asked....
Is it OK for humans to help and care for wild animals that are in need of help?
And the answer is yes since it is most likely a human that caused the animal the trouble it is in.

Exactly! EVERY time some one asks me WHY I do this (in a not nice way) I have to explain - 80% of my orphans are from HUMANS. 20% nature. I never have to explain to animal lovers and I never have to explain to my US Forest Service Friends or Dept of Natural Resource friends. But EVERYONE else does not get it. Urban sprawl and ignorance on animal behavior is an issue.

I took the survey and I have to agree with the post made above.... no where did they cover the issue if others felt its was acceptable for humans to step in and care for defenseless baby animals until they can be safely released back into nature to live out their life WILD & FREE - and not as some ones pet.

BUT - they do allow you a section to leave an additional comment at the end of the survey.

I found the link to be extremely slow to load.
No offence, I would be cautious about responding, as flags started popping up.
If you wish to respond, please do not enter any personal info of any kind.

Thanks all for participating. The survey is still active.

I will communicate your comments to the authors of the survey. And yes, we can post the results here.

Skul. I did the survey and all went well. No real personal questions except age, gender and where abouts you live. Not a specific place but a State.

Hello!

Please find the results on the links below. There are 4 reports because there were 4 different versions of the questionnaire (students worked in 4 groups):
