I need help with deep puncture wound

Hello, I am new here and im in need of some advise as soon as possible. I have been taking care of a squirrel for a few years now, and just recently he has scratched himself a dime sized deep hole in his chest. I was treating homeopathicly for about two weeks. Since i havent noticed it getting any better I went to my local humane society vet who gave me oral smz. I have been giving it to him for almost a week now, but so far he doesnt seem any better and the wound is getting swollen around the hole. I am very worried about him and wanted to know if there is something else I could do, or if someone knew of a squirrel friendly vet in my area. I live just outside of Jacksonville, Fl in Orange Park. Please let me know asap. Thank you!!

You may need a stronger Anti Biotic..
