Eye injury

I'd left Weezie running the office while I discussed dinner with the hubby. We heard a loud CRASH from the office and I ran in there to see her squinting her left eye. It has now started to bruise around the eye lid. Its quite tender and she doesn't want me messing with it.

I have some Terramycin eye ointment I can put in her eye. Right now she is resting in her cage in the dark, hoping to ease the strain on the eye. :(

Is there anything else I can do for her?

Hold him and shine light across it...that is if that eye is open.

I hope so! I'm such a worry wart with her. I would be a terribly overprotective parent if I had real kids...LOL

Sweet baby girl is still squinting, but the eye looks clear and glassy. I tried to flush it with eye solution, but she really wasn't digging that idea. She seems to feel fine though. She gave me my smile this morning when she attempted to tote a WHOLE apple across the counter to get on my shoulder to eat it. :D
