I hung up a new Hanging Tent for my Nos. Of course, they do have a long life due to his digging. This last one he has removed most of the liner and LOVES playing w/it. He moves the fluff all around. Guess he is re-arranging his home! Takes it out of the Hanging Tent completely and puts it back in. Quite a project for him!

I have a ton of the Hanging Tents. I wash them and hang them up clean weekly. Would it be OK to buy some of the Nest Material from Pet Stores so he can have some fresh weekly?

Hugs and love,

Dana and Nos mjs

I'm sure it would be okay, but cheaper and a lot of fun: Buy some of the little boxes of just plain old kleenex - not the stuff with aloe and lotion and scent and all of the garbage, just plain old cheapy kleenex. I clip the box to the cage bars and let P go to town. He stuffed oneof his tents so full he couldn't get into it anymore! Paper towels are loved, too.

Hope you have a good vacuum cleaner...

If you have old telephone books...the kind with the safe soy ink...
open it flat and crumple some pages!
Our kids go berzerk!
BUT the pages HAVE to be crumpled...apparently the flat pages just aren't as much fun! :D
Or we bought some packing paper...the kind you buy on rolls this time of year to pad presents...HOLY HECK! The kids FREAK over that stuff...again suitably crumpled! :D
Our kids rip the paper up and stuff it in their nest...their fleece bag...they have a hay day with it!:D

Pretty sure it is just paper - Mister P has chewed up a mountain of the stuff. It is also fun to wad up paper towels and toss them in the cage.

I stuff paper towels into the bars, sometimes. They can have some fun pulling it out, especially if I bunch it up to make it difficult to pull through. Probably it becomes a group effort, sometimes :) I usually do it when I have to leave them alone, though, so I have never seen it.

I do that to. I like to give them a challenge. I have put end rolls of TP in the cage too.
When the kid were little i put packing paper and towels on the cage floor. Ani thought it was great fun to shred it and stuff it in the nestbox.

Don't forget the most important one - a vacuum cleaner!

Ha Ha! I do that all the time anyway! Between Nos, my Squirrel and Little Dana, My Bunny; I vacuum "frequently" already!

I never knew there was actually a Critter messier than a Bunny!!!:shakehead

Those two make my two Teenage Kitties seem like a BREEZE!

It is all OK as I would never trade the LOVE from ALL of my CRITTERS for anything!:crazy

XOXO,

Dana and Nos
