ferret cage for indoors?

Cashew is 9 wk old and needs a bigger cage. I have been told not to release her till spring, so she is in our house in the guest room. Would a ferret cage, seems the dimensions are ok, be big enough and would the wire spacing be ok?

How much space is between the bars? I think the main concern is that their little heads can get caught.

I've been told that the spacing between the wiring needs to be no more than 1/2 inch. You just need to check the cages you are looking at as some have spacing that is more than that.
