Hello everyone. my name is Jenn, I live in central florida.
About 2 weeks ago i got a call from a friend who had found 2 baby grey squirrels I estimated to be about 5 weeks old. Her cat had brought both babies to her doors step. unfortunately one of the little girls were already dead the other one was alive so she put it in a crate and was feeding it hamster food for 2 days until she called me. I had bottle fed many animals including pups, kittens and coons but havent had a squirrel since I was a teen So i rushed right over and got nut nut who was very skinny and dehydrated, I nursed nut nut back to health and she us thriving and doing great. She eats like a champ, is very playful but also loves to crawl down my shirt and sleep. Im so excited to have her in my life even if only for a short time until she is able to be released and I look forward to possible helping more if the situation arises. I will upload pics in a bit.
