Cut her back to pedialyte for a couple of feedings then slowly start the formula again. White wet poo is typically overfeeding. Has Pearl started solids yet? Eyes open babies should be given block etc to nom on.

HOw often are you feeding her? If not enough time has gone by between feedings, she will pass formula as if it's not even digested -- white & mushy.

Every 3 hours is waaaaaay too often for a 5-wk old on FV. I feed newborns every 3 hrs, that's it. At her age she can go 4 - 4.5 hrs between meals. Gradually lengthen the time today between meals and you will see an improvement, I bet. :thumbsup

OMG! Now that makes me fell better, I am killing my baby by over feeding her! Ok I will go longer between times, and should I be feeding her more that 3cc at this age? Thank you for your help! PTS

Once you stretch out the length of time between feedings she will eat more. give her some catch up time and wait to give her her formula again. Don't worry if you haven't killed her yet it probably won't happen!! We've all been there done that!!! :D

Yes. Wait until 4 hours after the pedialyte so she's hungry and ready. Have it nice and warm too. I'll bet she takes 5ccs down like a champ...

In regards to the amounts, how much does she weigh? You should be feeding her 5-7% of her body weight.

With her having diarrhea, keep a close eye on her weight. Start very slowly back into the FV, using diluted at first (after the pedialyte), to give her system time to catch up. Plain yogurt, just a couple drops, will also be good for her tummy. (Make sure it is the full fat one, NOT fat free!)

Why did you take her out? That is soooooooooooo stressful on them. She needs to be kept at home and in a warm, quiet environment. I'm not coming down on you - it's just what's best for a squirrel, young or old. Even a simple trip to the vet can cause stress sometimes.

I have to agree...as Freddie always says, Sqs are not for show and tell.
I am not getting on you either, but maybe she needs a rehabbers commitment.:Love_Icon

Thank you all for your help, she is doing better! The taking her out thing some times is a must. I know that is not the best thing to do but I do anything and everything for my baby and taking her with me when I have to is just the way it is. People take them to work with them all the time so they can feed them. I see know difference. :thankyou PTS

I take Rosie to work, but it's a quiet environment and there aren't any loud noises or cold drafts. There is a difference IMO, just my .02.
If something comes up, I'm in Katy and am willing to do anything necessary. I think you have my number? you can get a hold of me 24-7. Text or call if you need anything. Even if it's just a question. :thumbsup

Thanks Mom I do have your #. When I do take her with me she is in her box with her little blankie and teddy all worm a cozy. I keep it as quite as I can. I have horses that are 35 miles away and when I go feed-ride she goes with me. She goes in the house with my aunt to watch her to make shure that she is ok. I have never or will never so anything to harm, hurt my baby. Mom I will pm you my # so if you ever need anything ( not that I know anything lol! ) you can call me!
