Hello,
I just got in 4 baby squirrels,1 has a busted lip,1 has a small cut & a puncture wound,1 has a scrape. They fell from a nest and I know one was killed by a puppy and that's where I think the other wounds came from. The one with the busted lip did not come from this nest.I got another call a little while after the other.Busy squirrel day for me.The ones that fell out of the nest, they had been on the ground all day and no one thought to call me! By the time I got there,1 had already died.I just finished cleaning them up and one already had baby maggots laid in her mouth so I got them out and will be treating with CapStar to be on the safe side.I will try later once they are all settled, but I couldn't get them to drink out of a syringe and my nipples will not be here until Wednesday maybe Tuesday but Chris wasn't sure when I ordered them on Friday.I am iffy if I should wait or sub q them.I would rather they drink from a syringe.I dont like doing sub q.

I can't remember the formula to do the medical math right now,and I dont want to wait for my husband to come home.He has 2 softball games.

Here are the weights. I have a another question, but its not a emergency so I will not post it here.

#1. 87 grams (eyes still closed)
#2. 92 grams (eyes opened)
#3. 77 (eyes still closed)

and the other one not from that nest is 99 gr (eyes open and about a week older, has more fur as well)

Thank you so much for your help.

Clavamox for a 100gr squirrel would be 0.032ml. In this instance I would think Trinethoprim/Sulfa (SMZ-TSP) would be the preferred ABX.
