she has some lacerations to her face, chest, and legs but nothing that seems to life threatening. she got trapped in the back yard of the abandoned house next door to me and tore her face up on the fence. like i said i live in a very busy area and havent seen many deer and the few i have seen have been hit by cars. shes drinking water and licking me she doesnt seem scared of me but is terrified of the traffic noise. will get some pics up asap. thanks

Can you clean and dress her wounds with some neosporin? And maybe bed the little thing down somewhere that she won't get eaten overnight - a garage or mudroom or someplace like that where she will be warm and dry and safe?

I know NOTHING about baby deer...But I checked the Fox Valley site and the formula for deer is very close to the 32/40 we use for squirrels - protein almost the same; fat a bit higher with the squirrels... Do you by any chance have any?

Any rehabbers want to chime in regarding feeding this little one? She's gonna need chow and it's getting late to find a deer rehabber today...
