He is about 6 or 7 weeks old.
I've been feeding him kitten formula, a water/sugar/salt "rehydrator" mixture, green beans, walnuts, almonds, apple, blackberries, pears, and all the pine branches he can gnaw on.
At this stage of his life, what should I make sure he's eating? And how much shoud he be eating? He eats 3-5 times a day right now. I'm very inexperienced when it comes to squirrel care, but I love my little guy and want to care for him properly.

If you are sure of this squirrels age, then it certainly needs the formula. Kitten formula is NOT good. Fox Valley formula is the best.
Squirrels have high calcium needs or you will run into serious, fatal health problems. There is a nutrition section on these boards. I would look through them in detail. Rat block food is fortified for them. Can be purchased in pets stores, but it is not really tasty. You might want to try Henry's blocks.
The hydration formula should not be used unless the squirrel has a dehydration problem. The formula has to be just right, or you will overdose on sodium. Squirrels tend to get high blood pressure very easily with too much sodium.
Read through the nutrition section. It should be quite helpful.

Order Fox Valley Squirrel Formula ASAP. KMR is horrible for squirrels.

Or you can call Nick (Fox Valley owner) at 1-800-679-4666

The Fox Valley website says the 32/40 formula is for squirrels up to 4 weeks old, and mine is around 6 or 7 weeks. What kind of formula would be best for him? Still the 32/40?
Thanks so much

AND what can I use as a replacement formula until I'm able to get the Fox Valley stuff?

Use the Fox Valley DAy One for squirrels, 20/50 formula. Also order a high-quality rodent block for him instead of the nuts and fruits until he is older. There are many listed on this site:

Henry's healthy blocks - www.henryspets.com
Mazuri Rodent Block or Zupreem Monkey Biscuit - www.squirrelsandmore.com
Mazuri Rat & Mouse Blocks - available at PetSmart.

Temporary formula:

Jackie's Goat Milk Recipe
1 cup goats milk
1/3 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup all natural yogurt

Mix well and keep in a covered plastic or glass container in the refrigerator. Replace after 48 hours.

If you can find Yobaby by Stoneyfield (it is for infants and comes in little teeny 4-packs) it is a full fat yogurt. If not, just fine some that isn't filled with artificial sweetener
