I've had the baby for a week now, and he has not been pooing after each feeding. I've tried giving him watered down apple juice, a few drops of vegetable oil, pedialyte, and esbilac formula.( not all at once) He has pooped a couple times after I give him the apple juice and oil, but not every time. I've stimulated him by rubbing with a q tip, cotton ball and putting his lower half in warm water and rubbing his belly. Am I not feeding him enough? I give him about 1/2 teaspoon every 3 hours of formula. Also, he occasionally sneezes, is that normal? I don't really hear any clicking or wheezing when he breathes. He's the youngest baby I've raised, and I haven't come across these problems before.

He may not be eating enough. How old is he, and can you get a weight in grams - or whatever, we can convert. It would be easier to know how much formula he is getting in cc's - you should be feeding with a small 1cc syringe anyway, so that shouldn't be too hard to give.
And what formula is he eating?

Use a towel in hot water and stimulate him to poop by massaging him near his genital part because his mother would lick him to help him poop. hope that help I am currently nursing 3 babies squirrel.
