View Full Version : washing baby bedding

A question was posed to me about how I wash Rockys bedding. I have just been washing it normal like I would wash my own clothes. I do not use any fabric softeners and the soap I use is scent free.

I have a hard time getting past the idea of washing with no soap, seems the bedding would not come clean and would pose other problems for baby squirrels. Can some one please help me understand this?

I always just washed it twice - once with soap and a second cycle without - it rinses ALL of the soap from the fabric instead of leaving a residue.

I do that with all of my "critter laundry" (I have parrots, too).

I second this motion...once with detergent (normal stuff I use for clothes) then just run it a second time with nothing... never had any issues and I'm kind of a neat freak.

Those are the Crittermom Dancing Santas. A "C" and an "M" together are a keyboard shorcut for those guys!!

That's okay - I kind of like them. I'm the only one on here with backup dancers!
