We are new here, but have been rehabbing for many years. We started out years ago by being the call people and picking up injured anilmals, now we help care for them. Everything for us blew up and in full gear since the 04 hurricanes. We care for squirrels all year, and in the summer we usually get a few opossums. We had 2 resident releases, but are down to one. This year we have started out with 3 itty bitties, and they are doing well. We have one of our babies we are trying to re-release due to injuries, and we are trying to catch his brother - similar injuries, but it appears he has gotten ahold of some bot fly eggs.
