I find that somehow I always end up with orphans/strays of every kind but this is my first squirrel baby so I was very excited to find this board and I've already found so many helpful people and information! Here are some pictures of my little punkin, I'm worried about him being a lone baby and his ability to be released because of that :/ I'm getting some weight put on him slowly but surely, he's up to 56 grams today though :)

He is adorable. Keep pushing the chow on him though, he is still a bit thin. That tummy can get a bit bigger at each feeding.

Welcome to the Squirrel Board. I found it so valuable and everyone so helpful here. Good luck with your baby. I am from Illinois too. I live in Chicago. Make sure your baby gets lots of calcium Henry's healthy blocks are really good. I give em to mine even though I released her in May/June I still feed them to her every day when she comes home to eat.
