I wanted to have her step on some ink, like just a stamp pad or something, and walk across a paper so I had her sweet little feetsy prints forever. Maybe make a little 'baby book' just cuz I'm like that. What's an alright ink to use? Would a washable water based one used for stamps be okay? I'd definatly wash her feet off right after, because I don't want her to try licking it off. Yuck

thanks in advance,

All I know for sure is that acrylic paints are not toxic. You can get the small bottles in any color at craft stores, maybe Walmart, some big hardware stores. If I was doing it, that is what I would use. It washes out easily with water, specially if you wash it off right away. (While you're at it, try making a print of her tail.)

Any kids paint would work...guaranteed nontoxic
Just wash it off quick or you will have prints in places never intended!!!
Mugzi chowed on a Sharpie with no ill effect. Most of the water based inks and paints are fairly safe. Remember the public is essentially ignorant and litigious so most of the harmful pigments (lead, cadmium, cobalt, manganese) or at least they are encapsulated or not at toxic levels.
Odd, I just had this conversation at the hardware store ... :thinking

I have a bucket load of acrylic paints. Odd, I didn't even think to use them. lol A tail print would be SO cool. She'd probably be pissed at me though. lol Whenever I mess with her tail a lot, she'll grunt at me, grab her tail, groom it, and give me a look like "No touchy." then aim her butt at me for scritches. SHEESH!
