Talula will easily eat 8 to 10 blocks a day if I let her. The last batch I made were perfect and she loves them. Can they really have to much? She eats lost of veggies too. She weight about 1 pound 8 ounces.

Yes. I assume you are making them with the vitamin mix in the posted recipe. Not to put words in her mouth (on her keyboard?) but 4skwerls makes those at a nutritional level to be fed 2-3 per day, so you are doubling up on vitamins. I would increase her fresh veggies, offering a nice selection, and ease down on the HHBs. Some vitamins can cause problems at too high a level.

She get 2 at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and sometimes at night. So I will get her down to 2 at morning and night. Thanks.

Critter mom is right..
too much calcium blocks ALL CALCIUM ABSORBTION...
and some vitamins become toxic in high doses...some can be lethal if overdosed!
I give one block in the morning...a salad mid day and yogurt with Fox valley mixed in or FV formula for dinner...
and in exchange for kisses I give nuts at night...the real McCoy's!:thumbsup
I agree more veggies and natural stuff!

Crittermom is right; the recommended amount is 2-4 per day, depending on the squirrel's age, size, and activity level. It would be very hard to "overdose" on HHBs since they contain minimum requirements of nutrients. Still, long-term, there's no need to feed more than 2-4 per day.
