I released my 2 squirrels about 2 months ago. I put out a squirrel feeder that they eat from on a daily basis. (along with about twenty other squirrel buddies that come to eat as well). I have only been putting shelled unsalted peanuts out for them because any kind of vegetable gets yucky in the heat. I am worried he ...is depending on these peanuts and not eating anything else outside, as the "more experienced" squirrels do. Any other ideas of what I can put in the squirrel feeder that won't get rotten?? Any help is appreciated :-):thankyou

You can go to my thread with this post (bottom)
I have been experimenting how to coax get my 2 wilds to accept more varieties of food. Namely veges. Just last month my brocolli supply was finished. :wott
I get some good results that want to share :thumbsup
Hope you'll get some encouragement
Keep up the good work! :thankyou
Lastly look out for the sticky: squirrel nutrition.
It will give you an idea of what to what not to..
